Overview
Lead safety programs, inspections, training, and compliance for POWER Constructors field teams.

Tasks
-Submit periodic safety audits, reports, metrics, evaluations, and inspections for corporate safety review -Maintain safety certifications -Respond to field safety questions, concerns, and directives -Perform safety evaluations, inspections, and audits of field staff & activities -Provide general safety oversight, guidance, and ongoing safety training to field staff as needed -Lead and coordinate accident/incident investigations with corporate safety management -Attend regular meetings between corporate and division safety leadership -Receive and carry out safety directives from corporate safety management -Generate and review Job Hazard Analyses, Tailboard Reports, -Assist with client safety questionnaires, audits, and surveys -Review client safety policies & procedures to implement and train staff on client-specific requirements -Develop, maintain, and update safety policy & procedure -Approve, order, review, maintain, and distribute PPE where needed

What You Bring
-Safety Credential (e.g. CSP, CHST, CSHM, CIH, BS, MS, MPH) -Understanding, proficiency, and passion for occupational safety -Mindset to approach safety duties with a balanced respect for compliance and business needs -Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel) -Collaborative, responsive & consensus-building work style -Certification in related occupational safety field (e.g. OSHA 500/501, 10/30/10 ET&D) -Ability to gain the trust of staff & management -Safety experience associated with transmission/distribution lines, ROW, electrical systems, and construction activities -7+ years of relevant work experience -Safety experience associated with field environmental hazards and work activity (e.g. dense vegetation, bugs/ticks, extreme weather, working alone, working near/over water, etc.)
