Overview
Design and oversee instrumentation & controls for water/wastewater treatment projects.

Tasks
-Developing preliminary scope definitions, budgets, and staffing plans, -Field review and evaluation of existing equipment, control systems (hardware and software) and control panels, -Preparing studies, conceptual reports, and technical memorandums, -Review and evaluation of mechanical specifications with controlscontent. -Coordination of I&C deliverables with the process, mechanical, and electrical disciplines. -Review and evaluation of process flow diagrams and design criteria; and -Review of Contractor and Supplier submittals, and -Assist with system troubleshooting. -Supporting multidisciplinary teams with engineering design projects and studies, -Support of equipment and control system commissioning, startup, and performance testing, and -Senior review and evaluation of Electrical schematic diagrams and plans. -Participate in construction site inspections, -Conducting I&C engineering and analyses related to various water, wastewater, and industrial waste treatment facilities, -Development of technical specifications, instrument datasheets, and detailed control strategies / narratives, and -Assisting marketing team with project pursuit strategies, -Developing construction documents (drawings, specifications, and schedules). Drawings for construction include: Database driven Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID's),

What You Bring
-CCTV and Access Control System drawings, PointtoPoint Wiring Diagrams, and -Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering is required; 15 years of experience in instrumentation and controls. -Serving as I&C discipline subject matter expert. -ability to convey project I&C needs to the project managers and clients, and to formulate those needs into comprehensive plans and specifications. -Ability to mentor junior to intermediate staff and work with remotely located project team members. -Possess Professional Engineering registration (P.Eng.) or the ability to obtain within 18 months of hire date is required. -Possess strong oral and written communication skills -Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously. -Detailed network communication architecture diagrams, -Possess solid interpersonal skills for working in a team environment (virtual or inperson).
