Materials Planning & Execution Manager

Overview

Coordinate and expedite material flow, manage planning, inventory and production schedules.

Tasks

-Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience. May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements. Explains information; developing skills to bring team members to consensus around topics within field. Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues. -Coordinate with Engineering and Sourcing teams to enable the shop to achieve On Time Delivery. -Manage and facilitate calls with external and internal project managers. -Manage master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs. Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs. Optimize inventory and process improvements.

What You Bring

-Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market -Experience with SAP ERP system. -Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with at least 2 years of manufacturing or materials management and planning (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Manufacturing or Materials Management and planning. -Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future. -Ability to understand and read manufacturing drawings, schematics, blueprints. -Accurate Cost and cycle estimating -Strong interpersonal and communication skills. -Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. -Established project management skills. Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously. -Must be able to work 100% onsite in Bangor, Maine. -Planning / Customer fulfillment background is an advantage -Lean or Six Sigma certified. -Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Uses technical experience and analytical thinking. Uses multiple internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
