Quality Control Lab Technician, 3rd Shift

Overview

Test and qualify coating samples, prepare baths, and handle QC investigations.

Tasks

-Low level analytical testing of intermediates and finished goods -Wet property testing of samples; i.e. viscosity, pH and resistivity -Make up of electrocoat bath for coatings testing -Will lead and work on independent quality projects as needed -Coating of panels via electrodeposition -Batch approval and submission preparation -Initiate and support out-of-specification investigations.

What You Bring

-High School diploma or GED required. -College chemistry and math are preferred, but basic knowledge of mathematics and scientific principles required. -Dry film testing; i.e. hardness, defect evaluation, gloss, color, etc. -Able to lift over 25 pounds in order to handle materials. -1+ year of Quality Lab or similar experience preferred -Ability to understand record and verbalize detailed information accurately.
