Overview

Assist senior technicians with installation, service, and maintenance of windows/doors.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Maintain clean and organized workspaces, service vehicles, and ensure vehicle upkeep. -Identify and reject parts that do not meet quality standards and coordinate reordering through service software. -Manage parts inventory in both warehouse and service vehicle; inspect and document all incoming parts. -Maintain accurate service records, including observations and actions, using digital devices. -Collaborate with other Field Service Technicians on multi-person projects. -Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively during service work. -Submit completed service reports promptly through company service software. -Assist senior technicians with job site tasks, including lifting, carrying, and managing parts and tools. -Clean installed products at customer locations and ensure job sites are restored to original condition. -Pick up and deliver parts between the plant, warehouse, and job sites as directed.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of the safe use of hand and power tools. -Some working knowledge of door & windows. -Some experience with manual labor- similar to windows & doors -Must be familiar with Microsoft products such as Outlook and Windows. -High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. -Ability to use computer and other office equipment and software to e-mail or fax correspondence and complete on-line training as required. Must be able to log information in a computer database. -Must have a clean driving record -Must have the ability to work autonomously as well as in a team setting.
