Overview

Lead mechanical design and delivery for water industry projects.

What You Bring

-Driving licence preferable (full, clean) -Excellent CDM and health and safety knowledge and application -Prototyping experience and a passion for trying new ideas. -Ideally Chartered Engineer status and membership of professional institution such as IET, InstMC or CIWEM -Batchelors degree in Mechanical engineering / related field or equivalent preferable -Excellent degree of computer literacy – Microsoft Suite etc -Significant experience is desired in the technical delivery of process plant systems on complex water industry engineering projects -Proactive in the face of challenges and comfortable taking the lead in conflict/problem resolution. -Content in developing junior members of the team and taking a pastoral role in their development, focusing on good practice and engineering rigor. -Excellent project management / organisational skills with ability to multitask and prioritise independently. -Positive “can do” attitude with flexible approach to work -Field / practical experience - Comfortable onsite, diligent in recording key measurements/findings, in a clear and concise communicable manner. -CAD expertise and experience preferable – AUTOCAD/SolidWorks/Inventor/Revit -Attention to First principles in design phase and consistently inquisitive to reduce complexity / cost and assembly time. -Strong written and verbal communication skills -CSCS card preferable -Excellent personal presentation
