Review and interpret customer technical specifications and industry codes
Creates and reviews technical documents (specifications, drawings, design documents, analysis reports etc.) for existing or new technology or applications.
Ensure lessons learnt and best practices are captured adequately into Analysis techniques, project / product design.
Individual contributor and also review & approve analysis work of others.
Frequent contact and interface with internal organization (Engineers, Drafters, Quality, Project Managers, Site Fabrication team).
Provides recommendations for optimizing designs to ensure functionality and manufacturability
Provide input to and support improvements to processes or work instructions
Ensure good personal time management and weekly time entry into SAP system
Participates in design reviews and provides specialist piping, jumper or flowline design advice to other engineers.
Uses sound engineering judgment, classical calculations and analysis programs to analyze designs and generate new designs.
Responsible for quality and on-time-delivery of assigned tasks
Should be able to perform technical design reviews and recommend improvements

Knowledge of industry specific design codes like ASME, API, DNV, NORSK and ISO
Proficient in Structural and Thermal analysis
Experience in high pressurized equipment/Boiler vessels/Heavy Engineering
Relevant TechnipFMC processes and local work instructions
Proficient in Non-Linear analysis
Must be able to participate in technical review meetings and discussions
Must be able to write, review and approve technical reports and documents
Analysis software training as required
Minimum 10+ years of relevant industry experience with background in analyzing subsea/surface equipment preferred
Should be able to do hands-on Finite Element analysis
Must be able to verify and substantiate FEA results with classical hand calculation methods
