Tasks
-Contribute to development and delivery of technical sales presentations to prospective and/or existing customers. -Maintains up-to-date awareness of industry activities, trends and regulatory issues. -Attends trade shows and regional metering schools to conduct technical presentations in large group session. -Interfaces with utilities, distributors, agents, deployment teams and managed service programs to ensure the utility custom requirements are obtained and configured into the manufacturing process. -Represents Company in a positive, professional manner when working with both internal and external customers. -Develop understanding of product strengths and weaknesses as they pertain to market requirements. -Schedules and attends customer wellness visits. -Provides technical expertise and information to sales for customers and prospects on system configurations, use, operation and features with emphasis on “industry best practices” to maximize the value of Company solutions. -Develops positive customer relationships through proactive customer management while providing guidance to customers in implementation, operation, training and problem resolution. -Supports and adheres to Company’s Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy. -Provides detailed information and coordinates with internal Company support teams to resolve customer issues.

What You Bring
-Required Minimum Level of Education: Bachelor's Degree -The ability to read, analyze and understand professional journals, technical manuals procedures and manuals. -Ability to develop and deliver technical presentations. -Individual must possess and demonstrate excellent customer relations skills, time management skills and ability to manage multiple daily tasks. -General understanding of utilities and specific knowledge concerning utility distribution systems, power transformers, instrument transformers etc. -The ability to prepare reports business correspondence and procedure manuals. -Effective oral and written communication skills; strong presentation skills. -Required/Desired Certifications: Must have a valid driver’s license -Required Minimum Years of Experience: 2+ to 5 -Desired Education/Experience: 3 to 5 years successful performance in a customer service or technical support related position in an electronic technology related field including independent travel and customer contact. Four-year degree from an accredited college and/or university is preferred. Five years of proven technical sales and/or technical support position in the electrical industry. Experience with utility operations, AMR operations, is a plus. Must have excellent computer skills including the ability to utilize Excel, Word, Outlook and CRM systems. Bilingual French/English is not required but is extremely helpful. -Technically position Landis+Gyr for all products.
