Tasks

-Team Leadership: Mentor the regional payroll team, providing guidance and support. -Reporting: Prepare and present payroll reports to the Payroll Director and other stakeholders. -System Management: Maintain and optimize payroll systems and software and work with Payroll Director and team on issue resolution. -Continuous Improvement: Identify and assist with implementation of process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy. -Collaboration: Work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure seamless payroll operations. -Adherence to Payroll Policies: Review payroll procedures and provide guidance to employees and payroll team on the specifics of those policies. Ensure policies are up to date as changes are needed. -Payroll Processing: Oversee the end-to-end payroll process for the region, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. -Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations. -Issue Resolution: Address and resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies and work closely with the HR department.

What You Bring

-Strong communication skills -5+ years of payroll management experience, preferably in a regional or multi-location setting. -Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, or equal relevant experience. -Strong knowledge of payroll systems and software, excellent organizational and leadership skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. -Good knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g., Federal and State Labor Laws). -Strong analytical and numerical skills and comfortable with Excel. -Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred.
