Tasks

Ensure compliance with current environmental legislation and promote best practices relevant to @one Alliance. Delegate authority from the Environment and Sustainability Manager in their absence including attendance at Business Unit meetings when required. Lead in the reporting of CAT2, CAT3 incidents and CAT4 / Near miss reports and assist with CAT1 investigations. Attend project specific meetings including (but not limited to) Fit for Enabling, Project Rehearsals and Fit for Construction. Review CAT3 incident reports produced by the Environment and Sustainability Advisors. Undertake Site Set Up Environmental Audits and other audits as required. Lead on and provide support to construction projects on environmental and sustainability issues, including producing site-specific project documentation and communicating this to the relevant personnel. Provide support to Environment and Sustainability Advisors.

What You Bring

Knowledge of key environmental legislation Member of a relevant professional body Educated to degree level in environmental related subject Subject matter expertise including Contaminated Land, Statutory Nuisance, Waste Management, Soil Testing, Ecology, Archaeology, Incident investigation. Direct experience with environmental regulators
