Tasks
-Documentation and reporting: Prepare daily and progress reports, maintain project records, and manage all correspondence and document control. -Safety management: Monitor work zone safety and ensure compliance with all relevant safety policies and regulations. -Project oversight: Supervise daily construction activities, manage project schedules, and ensure work adheres to approved plans, specifications, and safety standards. -Technical liaison: Serve as the primary on-site technical contact, resolving engineering challenges and coordinating with design teams and contractors. -Quality assurance: Conduct regular inspections, review material submittals, and ensure the construction meets quality control requirements. -Contract and cost management: Track and process contractor submittals, RFIs, and payment estimates. Review and manage change orders, assessing their impact on cost and schedule. -Stakeholder communication: Facilitate clear and consistent communication between the client, contractor, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of project goals and execution.

What You Bring
-Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, codes, and standards. -Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license is required or ability to transfer license to Texas. -10+ years of experience in bridge construction inspection and project management. -Proficient in project management software, scheduling, budgeting, and contract administration. -Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills. -Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management field. Civil or structural engineering degrees are preferred.
