Tasks

Reporting to the Controller, the Corporate Accounting and Reporting Manager will be responsible for managing the company’s corporate accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. This role also involves overseeing the accounting team, maintaining internal controls, and providing strategic financial insights to senior management. -Collaborate with other departments and senior management to support business operations and strategic initiatives. Provide financial guidance and support to various stakeholders. -Coordinate and support external audits. Prepare audit schedules, respond to auditor inquiries, and implement audit recommendations. -Ensure compliance with US GAAP accounting standards. Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and implement necessary changes to accounting policies and procedures. -Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial reporting. Conduct regular assessments and recommend improvements as needed. -Collaborates - Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives. -Collaborate with the Controller on the quarterly financial statements due to our lenders and investors. -Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of accounting operations. Leverage technology to streamline accounting processes. -Ensures Accountability - Holding self and others accountable to meet commitments. -Directs Work - Providing direction, delegating, and removing obstacles to get work done. -Lead, mentor, and develop a team of corporate accountants. Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture focused on achieving financial goals. -Working with the Controller, responsible for the management of Concur application. -Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Ensure all financial records are maintained accurately and timely. -Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making. Assist in the evaluation of business opportunities, cost-saving initiatives, and financial risk management. -Develops Talent - Developing people to meet both their career goals and the organization’s goals. -Plans and Aligns - Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals. -Working closely with the Controller, take the lead in preparing consolidated financial statements accurately in a timely manner for the controller's review, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

What You Bring

-Thorough knowledge and experience with US GAAP. -SAP S/4 Hana or (or similar ERP accounting systems) experience is a very strong plus. -Nimble Learning - Actively learning through experimentation when tackling new problems, using both success and failures as learning fodder -Manages Ambiguity - Operating effectively, even when things are not certain or the way forward is not clear. -Big 4 Accounting or Regional Accounting firm experience preferred. -Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. -5+ years of experience in accounting. -Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required. -2+ years of management experience with direct reports. -Understanding of the Internal Control framework and SOX is a plus. -Experience with lender compliance reporting is a plus. -Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. -Tech Savvy - Anticipating and adopting innovations in business-building digital and technology applications. -Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. -Interpersonal Savvy - Relating openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people.

Benefits
