Tasks

-Collect and analyze lighting quotations data to determine patterns of success or failure. Measure by product type, manufacturer, bid amounts, and customers. -Negotiate pricing with lighting manufacturers and customers. -Interact with electrical contractors, architects, engineers, and owners to suggest lighting products to be used on all types of construction projects. -Act as source of technical lighting expertise within the branch.

What You Bring

-Lifting up to 25 pounds is occasionally needed. -Vision Requirements: close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less) and the ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus). -Lighting product and application knowledge, as well as an understanding of the bid process. -Background in wholesale electrical distribution or electrical contracting is preferred. -High school diploma or general education degree (GED); a minimum of one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two-year trade school or four-year college degree strongly recommended. -Frequent sitting and use of hands/fingers.
