Tasks

-Interface with innovative stormwater, water quality, and planning partners to leverage new technologies and approaches for the benefit of our clients. -Support hydraulic modeling of coastal systems including ports. This includes wave action, sediment transport and movement, coastal erosion, and surge impacts. -Support hydrologic and hydraulic planning, modeling, and design of stormwater and wet weather improvements, including open channels, storm sewer systems, stormwater detention/retention facilities, dams, levees, and reservoirs. -Support hydraulic modeling of water and wastewater facilities utilizing CFD, including contact basins, sedimentation basins, and clarifiers. -Support erosion and sediment control planning and design, including SWPPP development. -Support planning and design of green infrastructure, low impact development, and sustainable watershed measures, including structural BMPs. -Support client-facing and business development efforts

What You Bring

-CFM (preferred) -Professional Engineering License (or ability to acquire the same within 2 years) -Ansys CFX or other CFD modeling platforms -Proficiency with working and collaborating in virtual environments (MS Teams, WebEx, Zoom) -Masters of Science degree in engineering preferred -Experience developing and executing water resource planning and design projects is preferred -Proficiency with some or all of the following software applications and models -Capable of conducting site reconnaissance and remote investigations -Minimum of 5 years related work experience. -Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. -Experience with regulatory requirements and procedures (FEMA, USACE, and EPA) preferred -5 years of water resources planning, stormwater design, dam safety, and/or condition assessment experience -Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project) -ESRI ArcGIS or QGIS
