Overview

Oversee QA/QC inspections and assurance for MEP modular construction.

Tasks

-Ensure adherence to standards: Conduct inspections and evaluations to confirm that Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems and related materials meet required codes, specifications, and quality standards. -Training: Assist in training others in quality standards, procedures, and best practices. -Data Collection: Record inspection results, measurements, and observations. -Lead and develop a team that drives efficiency and operational success. -Documentation: Maintain detailed records of all quality control activities, including inspections and testing. Document results, including non-compliance issues, with reports and photographs. -Inspections: Conduct inspections of mechanical and/or electrical systems and materials to identify defects and ensure compliance. -Review: Review submittals, drawings, design documents, and operations/maintenance manuals for quality and conformance.

What You Bring

-Computer Skills: Ability to operate electronic inspection software and other computer-related tasks. -Quality Focus: Ability to identify defects and a commitment to high-quality construction standards. Strong regard for quality assurance according to company standards. -Education: A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent manufacturing experience is preferred. -Technical Skills: Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, inspection techniques, and quality control methodologies. -Experience: 5+ years in Electrical or Mechanical inspection, or 10+ years in manufacturing inspection. -Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and inspection data. -Proficiency in Measurement Tools: Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measurement instruments. -Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and organizational skills, along with the ability to collaborate and function well within a team.
