Tasks

-Generate customer loyalty with a high level of customer service -Will constantly operate commercial motor vehicle and/or boom vehicle. -Increase sales of tools, fasteners, safety PPE, fire stop and caulking products, masking and floor protection -Frequently moves materials weighing up to 80 lbs. while unloading vehicle. -Follows up on sales or product leads -Meet or exceed sales and gross profit objectives -Help champion an inclusive working environment; empower others to bring their full selves to the workplace; celebrate, welcome, and value the different backgrounds and experiences that make up our workforce; recognize that all team members are valued, regardless of race, background, tenure, or title. -Provide superior customer service through professional communication and on-time delivery -Maintain and grow sales with contractors, general contractors, facility and maintenance divisions for hospitals, schools, property management companies, government entities, etc. -Understand and meet our customer’s service expectations and product needs -Communicate and implement sales programs/promotions directly and effectively to sub-contractors, General Contractors, GTS employees and vendors -Resolve customer complaints in a timely manner -Negotiates customer pricing within established pricing matrix -Grow sales in defined product categories per management -Will constantly move from unloading materials from commercial motor vehicle onto job site. -Will constantly position self to unload materials from flatbed or boom. -Identify new sales opportunities and market trends -Establish and maintain effective working relationships at every level of the organization; invest in building relationships with the Field Operations and Field Support Center team members.

What You Bring

-High School diploma or GED -Must be able to communicate with management and coworkers and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations. -Must be able to receive information and directions. -Must be able to prioritize job sites and deadlines. -Demonstrated ability to perform detailed work with accuracy, thoroughness, and timeliness -Must have a clear three-year Motor Vehicle Report -Must be able to manage stress depending on customer’s deadline. -Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of sound judgement. -Demonstrated ability to work independently and on a team; ability to lead, execute and/or delegate as needed, while also collaborating with others to get the job done. -Understanding of profit margin calculations and business financials -Computer literate with strong grasp of various operating systems and hardware/trouble shooting skills -Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred -Demonstrated ability to forecast and meet or exceed sales objectives -Must be able to remain in a stationary position while driving a commercial vehicle 40% of the time. -Demonstrated knowledge of company products and their use -Formal training, education, or experience in marketing and sales preferred -Must be able to judge distance while delivering materials and/or operating boom. -Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing to coworkers and customers. -Must be able to multitask. -Must have a valid driver’s license -Must be able to quickly communicate solutions if problems occur. -Ability to self-manage, show initiative, be proactive, and drive results.
