Tasks

-Involve the use of computers to maintain financial records and accounting reports -Assist Project Accountants and Project Managers with input and maintenance of projects’ data within our systems -Do routine work and follow detailed instructions -Perform accounting functions to support our Project Accountants and Project Managers, Including: -Monitor timesheet labor adjustments & Accounts Payable/Expense report adjustments -Perform internal cost recovery functions for billable project charges of vehicles & equipment -Assist multiple project accountants and other staff daily -Process on-demand check requests -Research and communicate release of subconsultant payments to corporate finance & accounting group -Manage and reconcile corporate credit card transactions -Review and answer questions as needed for employee expense reports relative to HDR travel & business expense policy & procedures -Process vendor invoices to the corporate finance and accounting group -Perform Accounts Payable functions relative to HDR accounts payable procedures, including: -Track employee temporary duty costs -Review and assist in processing Accounts Payable transactions for sub consultants

What You Bring

-Bachelor's degree in Accounting -Ability to handle confidential information -Excellent verbal and written communication including grammar, punctuation, proofreading, spelling and telephone skills -Proficiency with MS Office including Word and Outlook -High School diploma or equivalent -A minimum of 5 years of experience -Flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and collaborate with various managers in a fast-paced environment -Self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented
