Tasks

-Maintain records related to property permits, licenses, and environmental requirements. -Role Objective 2: Complete tasks that drive productivity within the operation. -Identify and recommend potential building systems-related projects. -Collaborative: Works effectively with leadership and peers to meet goals and contribute to ideas that will deliver operational and experiential improvements for the department. -Ensure guest satisfaction and complete day-to-day services required to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction. -Change Agent: Supports tactical execution of change management efforts to implement new processes, tools, or technology including, but not limited to communication plans and training development. -Established at least one new tool or process that increased Kasa quality standards -Key Initiative: Maintain appropriate supply inventory levels based on provided guidelines. -Think Like an Owner: Think like an owner at all times by taking accountability for all facets of unit/building performance; enhance partner satisfaction through creation of value by maximizing operating profit per unit. -Key Initiative: Identify and communicate on-site issues. -Actively provide technical engineering support for the on-site team regarding the operation, improvements, replacements, and/or upgrades for building systems and equipment. -Implement a standardized process for recurring yearly preventative maintenance tasks for individual units and the entire property -Role Objective 1: Drive quality outcomes through increased guest satisfaction and company metrics. -Quality Control Leader: Establish and implement streamlined processes that ensure adherence to high-quality standards through identification of proactive improvements and effective collaboration with external partners. -Support Operations Teams with Quality Initiatives related to Maintenance and Upkeep for the property. -Assist the Portfolio Operations Manager with reviewing price quotes for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for ongoing property maintenance and special projects. -Lead efforts involving preventative maintenance requirements, process improvements, standards review and troubleshooting, equipment selection, and service vendors. -Key Initiative: Complete brand standard inspections to gather property-level data.

What You Bring

-You communicate with clarity and empathy and can deliver impactful presentations to both senior business leaders as well as daily operations staff -Smooth Operator: Approach problem resolution with confidence, empathy, and creativity to swiftly and successfully resolve guest-stated and unstated needs. -Strong working knowledge of all building systems, including but not limited to MEP, commissioning, life and fire safety, elevator modernization, HVAC, and other centralized systems -You can handle stressful situations with a calm and positive demeanor -You're comfortable lifting items up to 50 pounds -Tech Savvy: Proficient with modern technology tools and effectively uses them to complete daily work. -You have excellent time management skills and enjoy juggling multiple time-sensitive projects at the same time -Handy: Comfortable with using a toolkit and able to devise clever solutions to common minor repairs and maintenance tasks. -You are data-driven, with metrics on your mind, and can interpret and analyze financial and non-financial data -Process Minded: Effectively executes established processes with precision and surfaces process deficiencies which negatively impact the guest experience. -Understand existing elevator and fire/life safety systems maintenance, making recommendations for process or capital improvements, and assisting in project management of modernization of any of these systems. -You are obsessive about clear documentation of learnings, and always approach a problem with the mindset of how you could scale the solution to 100x the size -This role requires regular access to a reliable vehicle to use for work, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record with proof of insurance. -Minimum 4 years of experience providing facilities support in the commercial, multi-family, or hospitality industry -You have a high level of independence and can make thoughtful decisions, even in fast-paced and ambiguous operating environments
