Tasks

-Maintains parts operations office, warehouse, and outside yards, so that they are neat and orderly as assessed by the department manager -Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards -Completes all parts order pulling transactions for external and internal customers in an accurate, timely and supportive manner to ensure customer satisfaction -Develops sales and inventory skills by completing internal training programs as determined by performance review goal setting guide for self-improvement and achievement of other KRA's -Regularly works indoors around moving mechanical parts and may be exposed to weather extremes when working outside in conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity -Models, promotes, reinforces, and rewards the consistent use of HOLT’s Values Based Leadership (VBL) tools, models, and processes to ensure alignment with our Vision, Values, and Mission -Routinely reacts to visual, auditory, and other signals including alarms and instructions, and is required to visually inspect work -Ascends/descends with gradual or continuous progress by oneself, using both hands and feet and climbs up and down ladders and/or equipment -Maintains all company equipment, warehouse environment, tools, and work areas in a good, clean, and working order -Adheres to contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations -Frequently lifts and moves materials and equipment up to 50 lbs.; must be able to move objects, and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue -Communicates with customers, supervisor, manager, and co-workers -Completes all stock replenishment tasks in an accurate, timely and supportive manner to ensure proper inventory status in parts warehouse; To be monitored by management observation and stock order analysis reports, as well as daily and year end physical inventories -Completes internal parts orders and identifies parts for return communicates job status to supervisor as needed

What You Bring

-Works in extremely bright or inadequate lighting -Operation and control skills of equipment or systems -Up to two years of experience -Up to 10% travel may be required & may require overnight stays -Learns how to place 3rd party orders through the CODA system and how to receive orders through the CODA system -Ability to meet all requirements as outlined in the Parts Warehouse Position Designation Guidelines to include order pulling, job related software, forklift operation, hydraulic hose building, ladder JSA, battery JSA, prime mover JSA, will counter operations, and all applicable policies and procedures -Ability to work independently and as part of a team -Ability to operate a conventional forklift -General knowledge of equipment and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance -Knowledge and proficiency with current computer software and related hardware -Constant movement and use of hands, this position requires good manual dexterity -To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each job duty and responsibility satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform job duties and responsibilities -Ability to read, write, and understand information -Ability to be self-starting and self-motivated -Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and equipment used in mechanical repair including an overhead crane -Requires wearing common protective or safety equipment -Ability to follow logical troubleshooting procedures -Ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences -Significant amount of time standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, stooping, climbing, and reaching -Works in an enclosed and open vehicle or equipment -Exposure to minor burns, cuts, bites, or stings -Equipment selection skills by determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job -Good verbal and written communication skills -Exposure to small quantities of chemicals, dust, steam, high-pressure water, and high-speed rotating equipment -Ability to operate the controls of a machine or a vehicle quickly and repeatedly to exact positions -Exposure to high noise levels and body vibration -High school diploma or equivalent required
