Tasks

-Assist with benefits administration, payroll and other human resources tasks including employee recognition and celebrations. -Comply with InnVentures Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations. -Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner. -Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include wearing nametags. -Ensure that proper emergency procedures are communicated and followed, when necessary. -Apply problem solving skills to resolve guest and/or employee issues to their satisfaction. -Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times. -Conduct property inspections to ensure the hotel is a clean, safe and secure environment. -Interview, hire, train, support, coach and mentor various departments and teams. -Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings. -Cultivate relationships with guests to develop loyalty and maintain a high level of satisfaction. -Participate in M.O.D. coverage as required. -Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions. -Monitor daily tasks to ensure that all standard operating procedures are followed. -Support and fill in for the General Manager when needed. -Champion great service and empower employees to take care of our guests. -Support and contribute to the proactive sales efforts of the sales team on a continual basis. -Plan for success and improvement with staff meetings, action plans and daily huddles.

What You Bring

-Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information. -Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests. -Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. -At least 2-3 years progressive experience in a hotel. Bachelor's Degree preferred. -Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines. -Must be effective in handling problems, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary. -Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner. -Must be able to understand and evaluate complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.
