Tasks

-Prepare fee proposals, design documentation, and technical reports. -Actively contribute to business development, networking, and client engagement within the WA property and construction sector. -Provide technical leadership across reinforced concrete, structural steel, and post-tensioned design solutions. -Mentor and develop junior engineers and drafters, fostering a culture of technical excellence and teamwork. -Lead and manage the structural design and delivery of building projects from concept through to construction. -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across other offices to deliver integrated project outcomes. -Manage and maintain strong relationships with architects, developers, and project managers to ensure high-quality outcomes. -Oversee project budgets, resourcing, and schedules to ensure commercial and delivery performance.

What You Bring

-Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced consulting environment. -Demonstrated leadership in mentoring and developing engineering teams. -Bachelor Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Chartered Professional Engineer status or working toward it preferred). -Proven track record leading buildings projects; such as commercial offices, residential towers, education, health, or civic buildings. -Perth CBD based -Strong technical knowledge of Australian Standards, construction methodologies, and local industry practices. -1015 years' experience in structural design and delivery within the buildings sector. -Proficiency in structural design software (ETABS, RAM Concept, RAPT, SpaceGass, or equivalent).
