Overview
Underwrite and execute renewable energy investments and monitor project performance in APAC.

Tasks
-Help identify new investment opportunities and support relationship-building efforts with developers, sponsors, and key industry stakeholders. -Lead detailed financial modeling and valuation analysis using methods such as discounted cash flow (DCF), internal rate of return (IRR), and comparable company analysis; perform sensitivity analyses to assess the financial impact of varying project assumptions and risks. -Assist in the negotiation and structuring of term sheets and transaction documents. -Present and defend analyses and approval requests to senior leadership with a clear and consistent approach to mitigate project risks. -Conduct research on market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the renewable energy and clean tech space. -Execute due diligence and underwriting of complex energy development or project investments, including oversight of development partners and review of legal documentation and consultant reports such as environmental studies, market studies and independent engineer reports. -Monitor energy project pipelines, auction outcomes, and merger and acquisition (M&A) activity in target markets. -Train and mentor junior investment professionals in a matrixed organization -Travel may be required, as needed, to support business and customers within the region. -Support GE Vernova strategic initiatives, special projects, and new business development opportunities. -Protect and realize the value of portfolio investments through engaging project counterparties, monitoring key performance indicators, evaluating project modifications/restructurings, and executing asset sales.

What You Bring
-MBA, CA or Chartered Financial Analyst designation. -Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred. -Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in jurisdiction of application (India or Singapore). -Small group leadership experience. -Direct experience with utility-scale energy projects, including solar, wind, energy storage, or distributed generation. -Entrepreneurial mindset, with motivation to work through ambiguity and collaborate to problem solve across GE Vernova businesses. -Experience working with external consultants (such as tax, legal, technical, environmental) on infrastructure transactions. -Skilled writer and communicator who can exchange ideas and information effectively in a concise and logical way. -Must comply with pre-employment screening, including reference verification, and background check. -Strong attention to detail, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities simultaneously. -Strong financial modeling, analytical, and valuation skills. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to prepare and present complex materials clearly. -Familiarity with project finance structures, including power purchase agreements (PPAs), debt financing, and risk allocation mechanisms, is highly desirable. -Demonstrated passion for renewable energy, sustainability, and infrastructure investing. -A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in energy project development, project finance, investment banking, private equity, or renewable energy infrastructure. -Ability to analyze in detail key project contracts, legal documents, and due diligence reports such as market studies and independent engineer reports. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook. -Quantitative, engineering, or finance academic background. -Previous involvement in due diligence processes across different stages of energy project development.
