Tasks

The Dietary Aide is responsible for food preparation, plating dishes, dining and table services to residents and guests in the community’s dining rooms and designated areas in accordance with Phoenix Senior Living standards. Responsible for handling all foods in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures regarding food service. -Maintains standards of cleanliness, hygiene and health standards -Adheres to posted menus and prepares food items using approved Phoenix standardized recipes in a timely manner -Follow all local, state and federal policies regarding food handling -Setting up and breaking down dining room for meals. -Prepares all special dietary needs as directed

What You Bring

-Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours, available for our customers at peak service delivery days and times -Previous experience in dining hospitality and / or full service senior living preferred -Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills -Demonstrate the ability to Multi task and Manage Stress -Understands and embraces the assisted living philosophy -Competent in time management / organizational skills -Education: High School Diploma/ GED required -Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication -Understanding of infection control procedures
