Tasks
-Become our ERP champion. Deepen your ERP expertise and serve as a go-to resource for process improvements and system support. -Identify and implement process improvements that enhance accuracy and team efficiency. -Convert financial data into actionable insights that help leaders make informed decisions. -Support month-end close with journal entries, reconciliations, and project-level analyses. -Monitor project budgets and burn rates; flag potential overruns or billing issues early. -Offer clear, approachable financial guidance to project teams across offices. -Develop and share financial metrics that reveal project performance trends. -May occasionally need to lift items up to 15 lbs. -Drive consistent project setups and ERP practices through cross-functional collaboration. -Lead and train. Design and deliver training sessions, present in webinars, and drive process improvements that ripple across the firm. -Ensure financial integrity through precise coding, thorough documentation, and reconciliations. -Produce monthly WIP and revenue reports that drive accurate recognition and forecasting. -Shape strategy, not just numbers. Guide project managers on budgets, billing strategies, and financial forecasting to keep projects healthy. -Issue timely, accurate invoices in close coordination with project managers. -Communicate beyond the spreadsheet. Translate financial data into clear insights that empower decision-making at every level.

What You Bring
-Ability to actively engage with a computer for several hours per day and communicate over the telephone or virtual meeting platforms. -Ability to explain financial concepts in simple, clear language -Proven record of improving processes and documenting workflows for efficiency -Experience with project setup, WIP tracking, and ERP or financial systems -Comfortable working with project managers, administrators, and leadership across multiple locations -3–8 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field -Strong Excel skills; proficient with Word and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations -Background in project-based financial management, including invoicing, accounts receivable, revenue recognition, and subconsultant coordination
