The Role

Overview

Ensures HVAC and other service work meets standards via inspections, corrections, and documentation.

Tasks

-Complete Gas and Venting inspection for HVAC, Water heaters and gas appliances -Identify the cause of any substandard work performed by contractor and collaborate with management on a corrective action plan which may include withholding of payments and/or contract termination. -Identify the cause of any substandard work of personnel and collaborate with management on a corrective action plan which may include additional training of personnel or disciplinary action as warranted. -Authors and creates all corresponding documentation through the Yardi inspection app, tracking inspection results and reviews these with the Operations Director and Facility Manager on a Weekly basis. -Responsible for ensuring that any workmanship that is not completed to standards is immediately corrected. Follow through until completed satisfactorily. -Retrieves and enters data into/from property management database system (Yardi) throughout the process and communicates findings to site management -Responsible for assisting with inspecting craftsmanship for service request with contractors and staff.

What You Bring

-Minimum of 5 years HVAC experience -HVAC certification preferred -Required Mech IV, Combustible gas indicator, and CO2 analyzer and Gas Detectors certifications courses if don’t possess -Solid Computer Skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and adept at learning additional software -Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills. -Combustible gas indicator Certification or ability to complete course within 90 days of employment. -Must possess basic skills with tools, proficient in repairing HVAC systems, appliances, kitchen operating systems, electrical wiring, and bathroom and plumbing systems. -High school diploma or GED -Certificate for CO2 analyzer and Gas Detectors or ability to complete course within 90 days of employment. -Mech IV Certification or ability to complete course within 90 days of employment. -Demonstrated strong customer service skills -Possession of a valid state issued Driver’s License and safe driving record is required.
