- Manage CRM tools, pursuit tracking, and supplier portals to prepare quotes and keep projects moving
- Monitor the marketplace for upcoming work and create and develop new sales leads, including company directories of new prospects
- Maintain and grow your network with designers, subcontractors, and suppliers to stay ahead of opportunities
- Track client satisfaction through records and surveys
- Attend trade shows, client events, and other networking opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients
- Work closely with preconstruction, operations, and management teams to align with client goals and provide insight on client expectations
- Use AI-enhanced research to develop outreach plans, identify opportunities, and understand client organizations

- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Viewpoint, CRM tools, and AI platforms is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills with an ability to maintain focus on key priorities
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, construction management, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience in industrial or general construction preferred (automotive, mission critical, or energy sectors)
- 5+ years in construction, with experience in business development, preconstruction, or project management
- Strong understanding of construction lifecycles and self-perform services (earthwork, concrete, steel, interiors)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
