Tasks

Comply with local, legal and international HSE standards, rules and regulations; implement HSE Management Systems at site. -Report all violations -Provide, with the operations team, safe access, housekeeping, and proper safety signage. -Ensure risk assessments and permits to work system are implemented and followed by all site personnel. -Ensure that all established HSE policies are administered and enforced in all areas. -Monitor and guide workforce and sub-contractors on waste management requirements including segregation at source and reduce reuse and recycling of waste. -Ensure compliance with local legal and contract requirements, Project HSE rules and regulations and polices regarding HSE are regularly communicated clearly to all employees. -Conduct project HSE induction training and monthly HSE training to workers, including subcontractors based on project scope and risk -Carry out regular daily inspections on the above requirements and monitor high risk activities to ensure full compliance. -Ensure compliance with local legal and contract requirements, Project HSE rules and regulations and polices regarding HSE are regularly communicated clearly to all employees. What You Bring

-Diploma or degree as required by client specs or zoning authority requirements -Knowledge of OHS&E standards, Operational hazards and controls, International HSE standards. -Ability to influence employees for the implementation of HSE tools. -Hands-on experience of implementing ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 requirements. -Ability to accept direction and complete work independently, demonstrating confidence and conviction with the ability to intervene at all times. -Ability to work in all outside weather and site conditions, including shift work within a manual/workshop environment. -4+ years experience of relevant working experience (preferred in well-established contracting companies in GCC) -NEBOSH certificate holder.
