The Role

Overview

Ensures workplace safety via audits, training, incident investigation, and compliance.

Tasks

-Conduct safety audits and risk assessments daily/weekly to identify potential hazards on both jobsites and warehouses and recommend corrective action to the proper manager and Division Manager. -Attend all required meeting as requested by the Regional Safety Manager, Director of Safety or Division Manager, -Investigate and analyze accidents, near misses, and hazardous conditions to identify root causes and implement preventative measures to reduce accidents. -Update and maintain the Safety Data Sheets for the division yearly or as needed to ensure chemicals are up to date. -Maintains records of training etc., as they apply to the safety program., and teach as needed. -Lead Safety Meetings as requested. -Works with Management and Employees to resolve any safety related issues. -Continuously learn and attend development classes as requested.

What You Bring

-Familiarity with conducting data analysis and reporting statistics. -Knowledge of Construction/General Industry as pertains to OSHA. -Proficient in MS Office/Excel/Teams. -Critical thinker and problem-solving skills -Three years of experience as a Safety Coordinator or comparable management experience. -Good organizational skills -OSHA 30 or OSHA 510 -Experience with Writing policies and procedures for health and safety. -Great interpersonal skills and communication skills -Good time-management skills
