Operate rubber injection molding machines to produce components, ensuring safety & quality.

Tasks

-Ensure quality operation of the process, perform quality checks and controls, including adherence to cleaning and maintenance. -Prepare and maintain accurate production records and follow standard operating procedures. -Wear appropriate protective equipment as required, dress and conducts self in a safe manner. -Keep track of approved, defective units and final product -Avoids or prevents hazardous conditions from developing. -Bend, twist & turn in a safe manner -Ensure shift change is completed forms are completed with accurate and appropriate information. -Responsible for all aspects of molding operations, i.e., work instructions, standard operating procedures, and revision control -Participates in plant safety objectives. -Maintain pre-determined efficiency, standards, and productivity rates. -Can work a weekend schedule as needed. -Implement and ensure compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes in their assigned areas. -Keeps work area clean and orderly and maintains Lean 5S.

-Strong math skills -Understands and follows plant safety and procedures. -Ability to speak and write in clear English communications -Good hand dexterity -Can work overtime to meet Business Objectives -High School diploma/GED is required -Ability to lift to 40lbs and perform push/pull functions -Prior manufacturing experience or quality control experience Preferred -Understand and follow plant safety and procedures. -Ability to read and understand various written instructions in English -Lift up to 40 Pounds
