Working Foreman

Description

• Ensure operatives are working safely, efficiently, and to plan.
• Maintain excellent communication with clients and site management.
• Supervise safe excavation around live/buried services.
• Apply strong commercial awareness to day-to-day decision-making.
• Translate site programmes into practical, on-the-ground activities.
• Manage and coordinate sub-contractors and on-site teams.
• Drive high standards in quality, health & safety, and productivity.
• Lead toolbox talks and risk assessment briefings to promote a safety-first culture.
• Oversee plant, materials, and labour to meet programme deadlines.

Requirements

• Completion of IT induction and training within the first 1-3 months.
• CSCS Supervisor Card
• First Aid at Work Certificate
• Proven experience working independently and as part of a team.
• Strong leadership skills with a collaborative, can-do approach.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ground beams, drainage, sub-structure concrete, externals, roads, housing slabs, cut & fill, and more.
• Able to collaborate with other trades to support programme delivery.
