Tasks
-Undertakes specific tasks / area of work as defined by the lead / principal / senior engineer. -Executes allocated tasks within the requirements of the project execution plan and Technical Document Register. -Functioning as part of a team of engineers and will mainly provide assistance to other engineers or be responsible under close supervision. -Executes work in compliance with client specification, Kent’s ISO accredited Quality Management System, and project specific procedures, guides and standards. -Complete Kent Graduate Development Programme. -Providing input to preparation of deliverables by other engineers. -Performs related duties as and when instructed by lead / principal / senior engineer or group manager. -Providing input and support to decision making by other engineers.

What You Bring
-Knowledge of Safety and Quality Procedures and best practice. -Flexible, enthusiastic and methodical in your approach to project work. -Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with others in the team as well as clients. -High level of MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook & Teams. -Analytical and problem solving mindset. -Awareness applicable international and industry specifications, standards and codes. -Self-motivated & comfortable taking responsibility across a range of tasks. -Master's degree in Materials Science / Metallurgy / Corrosion Engineering. If in doubt, the degree should be accredited by one of the professional engineering institutions (ICorr or IOM3). -Enthusiasm and drive to develop your skillset and seek out development opportunities within a supportive team. -Comfortable to embrace agile ways of working and learning new technologies. -We are looking for candidates who are due to graduate in 2026 or have graduated in the last 2 years. -Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication and skills.
