Tasks

-Verify that all work aligns with approved drawings and design documents. -Coordination with multiple stakeholders in a high-security airport setting. -Ensure installations comply with project specifications, airport authority regulations and local building codes. -Ensure proper installation and maintenance of mechanical systems for optimal airport functionality and passenger safety. -Prepare and submit daily reports, punch lists, and final inspection documentation. -Conduct inspections of all building components such as architecture, structure and systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, fueling systems, and baggage handling systems at airport facilities. -Attend progress meetings and provide updates on inspection findings. -Assist in preparing technical reports and recommendations for project stakeholders. -Ensure that work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and airport operational requirements. -Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions. -Recommend improvements to enhance system efficiency and sustainability. -Monitor compliance with workplace safety regulations and environmental policies. -Oversee and participate in the testing, commissioning, and startup of building systems. -Work closely with project managers, contractors, and design teams to resolve issues. -Identify any discrepancies or defects and coordinate necessary corrective actions.

What You Bring

-Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of building components and systems. -Experience: Minimum 5 + years of experience in large buildings construction environment, preferably in airport projects or large-scale infrastructure. -Exposure to construction environments, requiring personal protective equipment (PPE). -Positions in this class typically require manual dexterity, talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and repetitive motions. -Software Proficiency: Experience with AutoCAD, BIM, or inspection-related software is a plus. -Skills: Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, strong communication, and technical report writing. -Field-based role with frequent site visits and inspections. -Certifications: OSHA 10 preferred. -Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction or a related field.
