Oversees and reports on schedules for multiple smaller projects or one larger, complex project.
Facilitates the planning and scheduling process through various construction phases (preconstruction, construction, system completions, commissioning, etc.).
Maintains the P6 scheduling database at a district level, including setting up new projects, maintaining templates and layouts, and setting up user permissions

Active in schedule development, construction planning process and project pursuits in collaboration with the superintendent and project manager.
In-depth knowledge of schedule requirements in the contract documents.
Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate and present ideas and content that influence a favorable outcome.
Prior experience with field construction operations and how a project is constructed, including logical sequencing of work through all phases of the project from pursuit to project closeout.
Thorough understanding of organizational strategies and practices with the ability to apply planning and scheduling principles to formulate and implement project best practices and techniques.
Previous experience with additional scheduling software systems
8-10 years of progressive scheduling experience in construction or related field preferred.
Ability to work independently or in a team environment with multiple stakeholders including estimators, field supervision, subcontractors, project team and clients.
Applicable scheduling certification an asset.
Postsecondary degree or diploma in construction management, engineering or a related discipline preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing work (for self and others) under strict timelines and being flexible to changing needs.
Expert knowledge of construction specifications, building materials, methods and procedures, and the ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, contracts and proposal documents.
Ability to create solutions for complex engineering and planning principles to construction challenges.
