Tasks
The Quantity Surveyor will support the commercial management of the ECWE SRS Project by providing expertise in cost control, contract administration, and change management. This role is responsible for measuring, valuing, and reporting on project costs, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, and supporting the project team in achieving budgetary and financial objectives. -Conduct quantity take-offs, measurement, and valuation of works in accordance with project specifications and standards. -Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure alignment between financial tracking and project delivery. -Monitor project expenditures and assess cost impacts of design changes, schedule adjustments, and unforeseen conditions. -Prepare, review, and update project cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts for stations, rail, and systems works. -Support risk management processes by identifying potential cost and contractual risks. -Assist in preparing monthly cost and progress reports for internal and client review. -Review subcontractor and supplier quotations, claims, and invoices for accuracy and alignment with contract terms. -Maintain detailed records of all commercial and contractual correspondence. -Support the preparation, submission, and negotiation of progress claims, variations, and change orders. -Provide input into final account preparation and project closeout documentation.

What You Bring
-Proficiency with cost management software, estimating tools, and MS Office Suite (Excel in particular). -Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. -Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary project environment. -Professional membership or working toward accreditation (e.g., PQS, MRICS, CIQS) considered an asset. -Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., CCDC, P3, design-build). -5+ years of experience in quantity surveying or cost management, preferably on major infrastructure or transit projects. -Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
