Tasks

-Create and maintain community awareness and positive project visibility throughout delivery. -Serve as the first point of contact for clients and members of the public via email and phone. -Implement project communication plans as required by client specifications. -Plan and coordinate stakeholder engagement activities such as public consultations, community pop-ups, and other events. -Maintain and manage the stakeholder database (Consultation Manager). -Assist the Stakeholder Manager to develop and implement comprehensive strategies to effectively engage with stakeholders and local communities on the project. -Translate complex project information into clear, accessible communications for impacted communities. -Collaborate with internal stakeholders and project teams to ensure community perspectives are considered and integrated throughout project delivery. -Respond to community complaints and enquiries in a timely and professional manner. -Organise and take minutes for stakeholder meetings, workshops, and consultations to gather feedback and provide updates. -Conduct door knocks and community engagement with stakeholders. -Produce communication collateral including newsletters, notifications, web updates, and social media content.

What You Bring

-Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. -Ability to build strong relationships and manage competing priorities in a project-driven environment. -Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and communications—ideally within infrastructure, construction, or transport projects. -Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
