Overview
Inspect, diagnose, and repair tactical/commercial heavy equipment vehicles.

Tasks
-Responsible for entire vehicle inspection to include the prime mover, power train, transmission, hydraulic, electrical and mechanical subsystems. -Be involved in diagnosing the source of the problem and determining the extent of repairs and make cost estimate. -Determines and orders repair parts for each work order using correct technical/operator -Responsible for entire vehicle inspection using precision measuring instruments, tools, and technical manuals or commercial manual equivalent to include technical bulletins for specifications. -Performs vehicle classification and estimated cost of repair/damage.

What You Bring
-PPE usage is required. -High School graduate or equivalent. -Basic computer skills required. -Minimum three (3) years of experience in the repair of tactical or commercial vehicles and equipment. -While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee may use repeated motions that include the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. -Ability to obtain National Agency Check with Investigation for computer access. -CDL license with air brakes rating preferred. -Valid driver’s license. -Knowledge of tactical and commercial vehicle and equipment maintenance. -Have knowledge of teardown and fault determinations.
