Tasks

-Troubleshoot and Diagnose: Identify and resolve faults in products and wiring efficiently. -Perform Routine Testing: Conduct tests on Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) ranging from 66kV to 420kV, including tests on Disconnector, Earthing Switch, and Circuit Breaker (both Mechanical and Electrical Tests) within the stipulated time frame, maintaining high standards of quality. -Participate in Improvement Programs: Actively engage in Lean Manufacturing initiatives, Continuous Improvement programs, Compliance and Corporate Governance, and adhere to EHS and Quality guidelines.

What You Bring

-Understanding of manufacturing and assembly drawings. -EHS Knowledge: Familiarity with environmental health and safety regulations and procedures. -Experience in conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) in front of customers. -Qualifications: Diploma in Electrical Engineering with a total experience of 2-3 years, including at least 1 year of experience in GIS routine testing. -Shift Flexibility: Willingness and ability to work in all three shifts. -Proficiency in preparing documentation and maintaining records of performed tests. -Operate Testing Equipment: Proficiently operate CB Timing kits, SF6 handling plants, Cranes, and Gas Insulated High Voltage Testing kits. -Lean Manufacturing Expertise: Advanced knowledge of lean principles and techniques to optimize processes and eliminate waste.
