MATERIAL HANDLER I - LOADER 3rd Shift

Overview

Operate powered forklifts to load, unload, pick, receive, and pack tile shipments (3rd shift).

Tasks

-Operates various powered industrial trucks to receive product into warehouse and prepare for stocking -Utilizespowered industrialequipment to move product into pre-designated areas within warehouse once received -Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy -Ensures product is placed into accurate location -Verifies shading of product and places into accurate warehouse location -Keeps area safe, clean, and organized -Wraps and packs products by hand into boxes for shipping -Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor -Keys order into Warehouse Management System (WMS) -Loads boxes into conveyor belt -Opens crates and inspects product -Follows standard operating and safety procedures -Verifies orders for accuracy -Labels boxes with packing slip -Applies labels to product according to establishing procedures -Keys location of product into inventory control system and places product onto shelves -Operate powered industrial truck(s) to assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets. -Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping areas

Requirements

What You Bring

-Good oral and written communications skills. -High School Diploma or equivalent -SPC Check/Pack Checking -Stand-Up/Reach Forklift -Ability to understand and speak English. -Order Picker/Cherry Picker Forklift -Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks. -Accurate measurement capability. -Must have a minimum of six months to 1 year of sit-downforklift. Reach truck, and OP experience. -Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. -1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience. -Ability to work in a safe conscientious manner.
