Tasks

-Interpret and administer complex Federal, State and Fee lease forms to ensure the administration of provisions such as continuous drilling obligations, separate lease language, retained acreage, shallow and deep pugh clauses -Analyze various forms, including complex title, lease, and contract documentation to maintain company ownership and obligations -Ensure timely and accurate payment of extensions, rentals, shut-in payments, and minimum royalties for the upstream assets -Assist Land with special projects, data requests, due diligence, and company acquisitions and divestitures -Create, maintain, and update lease record information in the Land system and applications to ensure accuracy and data integrity -Manage a busy area of responsibility, working directly with Mineral and Surface Land, Division Orders, Engineering, Geology, and Accounting -Add and maintain all cross-references to leases and contracts -Ensure accurate acreage tracking and reporting by maintaining up-to-date lease boundary data, reconciling acreage discrepancies, and generating reports to support internal audits, regulatory filings, and operational planning -Utilize various tools to review and understand details of the area of responsibility, and to build data audits for consistency and accuracy
