Tasks

-External Working Relationships Develops and maintains courteous and effective working relationships with clients, vendors and/or any other representatives of external organizations. -Safety and Security All employees are responsible for observing safety and security procedures as applicable and reporting potentially unsafe conditions to management. -Analytical - Synthesizes complex or diverse information; Collects and researches data; Uses intuition and experience to complement data; Designs work flows and procedures. -Project Management - Develops project plans; Coordinates projects; Communicates changes and progress; Completes projects on time and budget; Manages project team activities. -Cost Consciousness - Works within approved budget; Develops and implements cost saving measures. -Customer Service - Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments.

-Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations. -Previous experience as a Social Service Coordinator -Written Communication - Writes clearly and informatively; Edits work for spelling and grammar; Varies writing style to meet needs; Presents numerical data effectively; Able to read and interpret written information. -MSW or Masters in Counseling -Must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-faceted and customer service-oriented environment. -Must be able to work as a team, interact with others in a professional/pleasant manner and exercise problem-solving skills. -Ability to effectively communicate with residents (handle concerns, complaints and issues); community organizations and providers; and other staff. -Must be able to apply principles of logical thinking or define problems, collect pertinent data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and initiate appropriate course of action. -It is a requirement for this position to be fluent in Korean -Education (Desired): Bachelors Degree or Associates Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Sociology or other social science major. -Ability to interface and network with community organizations and provider agencies. -Understanding of social service funding, eligibility and access to community services -The employee must be capable of adapting, with minimal or no advance notice, to changes in how business is conducted and work is accomplished, with no diminishment in work performance. -Excellent interpersonal relationship skills -Social Service software experience -Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Demonstrates group presentation skills; Participates in meetings. -Must be able to effectively communicate with a diverse population and group of personalities. -Design - Generates creative solutions; Translates concepts and information into images; Uses feedback to modify designs; Applies design principles; Demonstrates attention to detail.
