Overview

Assist in design, drawing, and analysis of power substations as a student engineer.

Tasks

-Develop, prepare, and modify substation drawings, including A/C diagrams, D/C schematics, and logic and functional diagrams -Assist Substation Engineers in preparing design packages -Performing simple calculations -Assisting in the design and development of for power substations, which could include structural and foundation design. -Participate in field reviews

What You Bring

-Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program -Prefer 2 years completed towards engineering degree with a 3.0+ GPA -Courses in Power/Energy a plus -Attention to detail -Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills -Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry -Experience with computer-aided design programs (AutoCAD, Microstation, etc.) is desired but not required for consideration. -Basic Microsoft Office skills
