Composite Mechanical Design Engineer /Aerospace

Enata Group

The Role

Overview

Design composite and alloy parts using Siemens NX12, supporting production and tooling.

Key Responsibilities

  • part design
  • cad management
  • nx12 assembly
  • surface modeling
  • composite design
  • stress analysis

Tasks

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Composite Mechanical Design Engineer located in UAE. The engineer will be responsible for designing composite materials and structures, developing and implementing mechanical designs, creating product designs, and utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software. Day-to-day tasks will include conceptualizing new designs, conducting stress analyses, collaborating with manufacturing teams, and ensuring that designs meet project requirements and industry standards. -Designing parts for water jet and CNC cutting. -Ensures that CAD structure tree is set properly by other design engineers -Follow up on the implementation of the engineering designs into the production lines, including but not limited: -Production of part assemblies in Siemens NX12, including DOF and cinematics definition. -Surface modeling of composite tooling in Siemens NX12. -Issuance of guidance drawings -Provides support to other design engineers on advanced NX12 functions, including: assembly cinematics and DOF, parts surface modeling, mesh modeling -Design of plugs and molds from CAD parts . -Design of alloy and composite (GFRC, UHPC, CFRP, GFRP) mechanical parts.

Requirements

  • composite lamination
  • sheet sequence

What You Bring

-Composite lamination sheet sequence definition when required
