-Work in close collaboration with devops teams and algorithms developers and researchers -Take full ownership of large and complex code base that implements Via’s core algorithm -Develop and maintain multiple mission critical services

What You Bring

-Fast learner: you can quickly master concepts, disciplines and methods -Have a solid background in software engineering methodologies, such as git, CI/CD -M.Sc. in Computer Science / Software Engineering / Mathematics / similar field -Team player: you work well with people, as well as by yourself -Minimum of 3 years of hands-on industry experience in backend development (Python) -Experience in architecture and maintaining cloud systems — strong advantage -Immediate impact to Via’s thousands of daily passengers and clients around the world, like making our booking application respond to users significantly faster. -Experience with DevOps in cloud infrastructure (Kubernetes, etc.) — strong advantage
