The Role

Overview

Install and service commercial solar electric systems, ensuring safety and compliance.

Tasks

The primary purpose of the Electrician role is to assist with and install retail and commercial solar energy systems in accordance with company quality standards and all applicable industry and safety requirements, while delivering a professional and positive customer experience. -Conduct Job Site Assessments (JSA) / daily toolbox meetings and return required documentation as directed. -Identify and report hazards or incidents to the appropriate safety representative. -Participate in safety inspections, audits, and investigations as required. -Always wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure PPE, ladders, tools, and safety equipment are properly used and maintained. -Ensure all installations are completed safely and in compliance with company safety policies and procedures. -Represent the company professionally when working with customers. -Ensure each job site is left clean, orderly, and customer-ready. -Assist with the installation of solar systems on time, within scope, and in compliance with: -Communicate respectfully and clearly with customers to support a positive installation experience. -Perform regular safety checks on vehicles, tools, and equipment used on-site.

What You Bring

-Associate’s degree in a related field OR 5+ year of experience -Awareness of national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations. -Journeyman experience or the completion of an apprenticeship program. -Willing to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lift heavy objects, climbing ladders, crawling, etc -Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other technical documents. -Knowledge of electrical systems, hand tools, and industrial equipment. -Strong verbal and written communication skills. -Must be experienced with PDUs/Switchgears

Benefits

Terms: 6-month contract to direct hire with full benefits, PTO, holidays, etc. Rate: $35-$40/hr
