Tasks

-producing business cases and proposals to enable our clients to fund their projects, -undertaking strategic studies, feasibility work, outline and detailed designs for a wide variety of water utilities projects including water and wastewater treatment, conveyance and reservoir dam safety, -working directly with clients to understand their needs and develop solutions to their problems, -producing calculations and reports to support those designs, -working with our construction partners to improve safety of designs and understand and improve the construction process, -ensuring our designs take account of buildability, sustainability, H&S and environmental requirements.

What You Bring

-Previous experience in the water sector is desirable although not essential, we would look for technical skills transferrable to a civil engineering role in the water sector. -Desire to support and mentor more junior engineers towards achieving Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status. -Self-motivated and effective team player. -Excellent written and verbal communications skills. -Approaching or at Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status with the Institution of Civil Engineers or another relevant institution. We may consider candidates without this designation if they have suitable experience and can demonstrate a track record of carrying out work at a similar level.
