CDM Principal Designer

Description

• Lead and manage the Pre-Construction phase in line with CDM 2015 regulations.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, coordinating health & safety across multidisciplinary teams.
• Work on cutting-edge projects driving zero-carbon and sustainable design.
• Review Principal Contractor documentation and prepare Health & Safety files.
• Facilitate design risk workshops and produce meaningful Design Risk Assessments.
• Conduct site audits, lessons-learned workshops, and ensure compliance at all stages.

Our Building Services consultancy team have in excess of 40 years recruitment experience within building services engineering recruitment within the UK & Internationally, including a previous building services design and project engineer as part of our dedicated, highly skilled & passionate team.

• Proficiency in MS Office and understanding of British Standards.
• Experience with data centres or large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of UK CDM Regulations 2015 and design risk management.
• NEBOSH Diploma (beneficial) and familiarity with MEP building services.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
• 5+ years’ experience in CDM-focused roles.
