Tasks

-Support the proliferation of refractory composite hot structure materials through validation testing to demonstrate feasibility in new applications -Support the development of a functional, efficient database for organization, graphing, and tabulating refractory composite material properties. -Communicate team results including through the generation of manuscripts, charts, and presentations. -Support analysis of structural, damage tolerance, long term safety, and life predictions properties of refractory composites.

What You Bring

-Industry experience transitioning CMC’s into commercial service, including coordinating testing and manufacturing and design requirements is also essential. -Experience in failure analysis is also a big plus. -PhD with a focus on specifically ceramic matrix composites (CMC) is required.
