The Role

Overview

Maintain, repair, and inspect multifamily property to ensure operations and resident satisfaction.

Tasks

-Responds to work orders in a timely manner, including after hours on-call maintenance requests and participates in the on-call rotation. -Keep tools and storage areas organized and secure. -Follows practices for the safe operation, maintenance, and repair of all facility equipment, including compliance with health, safety programs, policies, procedures, reports. -Perform all work in accordance with ARTISAN policies and procedures, as well as all relevant federal, state, and local laws (including Fair Housing, ADA, and FCRA). -Participate in required ARTISAN training and development programs. -Maintain community buildings, equipment, and grounds to support operational and resident satisfaction goals. -Complete building repairs such as drywall, flooring, doors, hardware, windows, screens and more. -Inspect common areas and residential units to identify and address maintenance issues proactively. -Maintain pools/spas, chemicals, logs, and associated safety equipment (where applicable). -Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair HVAC systems, appliances, plumbing, and electrical systems.

What You Bring

-Proficiency in basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repair -Preferred certifications: CAMT, EPA, CPO, boiler license, or related licenses/certifications -Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently -Basic computer proficiency preferred -Ability to adapt to changing priorities and make sound decisions under pressure -High school diploma or equivalent. -Accountability in task completion and attention to detail -A calm, professional demeanor with strong organizational and communication skills -Proven experience as maintenance technician in residential, commercial, or facility settings -Strong communication and time management skills
