Tasks

-Prepare design risk assessments -Assisting with design documents which are cost effective and meet the requirements of the specification -Maintain files and records throughout the duration of contracts. -Produce outline electrical, instrumentation and control design on contracts -Production of clear and well-presented reports, specifications, and other engineering documentation -Supporting the delivery of design and assessment in a multi-discipline environment

What You Bring

-Excel at building and maintaining positive relationships -As some of our project sites are based in remote locations, it is worth noting that you will be required to have the ability to travel to site -Great communication skills. (Written and Verbal) -Work experience relevant to the engineering sector -Have passion for Costain's Carbon Net Zero targets -The ability to thrive in pressured situations -Excellent organisation, communication, and time management skills -Have the ability to travel to the office and sites (some of our sites are difficult to access through public transport) Meaning a full UK driving licence is required. -Have achieved or on track to achieve your Bachelors/ Master's degree in Electrical Engineering -IT proficient -Please note that if you are invited to interview, we will require you to produce your passport and/or right to work documentation. -Able to work accurately and appreciate its importance to the team -The ability to empathise and communicate with all people, regardless of their background or circumstances
