The Role

Overview

Assist survey teams, process data, create maps, and support field operations.

Tasks

-Create and update precise maps, plans, and legal descriptions using AutoCAD Civil 3D to ensure accurate surveys and boundary determinations. -Process, organize and analyze survey field data using Leica Infinity. -Contribute to technical reports and documentation that ensure accuracy and support project goals -Develop trusted client relationships that strengthen client satisfaction and project success. -Research and analyze land records, deeds, and survey maps to ensure precise, reliable survey results. -Perform key mathematical computations to assist in plotting features and boundary lines. -Assist field crews as needed operating Leica total stations, GPS, and scanning equipment. -Monitor projects for regulatory adherence and update the Project Surveyor. -Implement innovative survey solutions that enhance project outcomes for internal and external clients. -Engage with dynamic groups such as the Community Impact and Fun Committees, Fisher Minds (ERG), and the Employee Advisory Group.

What You Bring

-Professional performance standards aligned with Fisher’s Mission, Vision, and Core Values. -3-5 years of surveying experience preferred. -Highly adaptable and proactive in meeting deliverables and deadlines. -Must be able to travel occasionally to project sites located throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, and New York. -High School Diploma or GED required. -MicroStation Open Roads experience preferred. -Experience in downloading, processing, and organizing survey field data. -Proven ability to deliver quality work through critical thinking, problem-solving, and sound judgment. -Associate’s degree in surveying (or related field) preferred. -Ability to sit, stand, walk and traverse uneven grounds -Experience with PennDOT field and office standards preferred. -AutoCAD Civil 3D experience strongly preferred. -Must be able to lift to 50 pounds at a time. -Able to work in physically challenging outdoor environments in all types of weather. -Must possess a valid driver’s license and drive a company vehicle. -Knowledge of land surveying mathematical principles, terminology, and field survey methods required. -You thrive in a culture that celebrates fun and fosters a relaxed, easy-going atmosphere, so you can bring the best of yourself to work every day.
